I'm Michael ~
I'm Michael ~
A digital product designer based in Austin, TX. I attended The University of Texas at Austin, where I switched my major multiple times (I loved learning many disciplines). Post-uni, I worked for an advertising agency in New York City as strategist before making the leap into UX Design and earning my certificate from Designlab.
As a Filipino-American, and growing up in a family where my parents always traveled for work (product of military parents), I’ve cultivated a curiosity and empathy for what drives different kinds of people across various cultures. Which has given me a different perspective in creating human-centered design.
Currently I’m an Associate Product Designer at REALLY. On the side, I'm also a UX designer volunteer for Rainforest Partnerships. It’s been exciting to combine my foundation in strategy and now UX with everything in between.
